Hong Kong Centenary Jamboree

MaCaPS has supplied the RFID time attendance system for the Hong Kong Centenary Jamboree held from 27 December 2010 to 1 January 2011. The Jamboree was a series of exciting and challenging activities in land and water available for the campers to celebrate the Centenary year of Hong Kong Scouting. The Attendance system supplied by MaCaPS was an "all weather" and "non-interrupted" system developed to handle fast access flow of guests in any events.

MaCaPS system with expandable storage has shown its strength in the Hong Kong Centenary Jamboree held in Penny’s Bay next to Hong Kong Disneyland in Dec 2010. The site was located in a large open ground in north-eastern Lantau Island, the largest island in Hong Kong which is only 30 minutes away from the Hong Kong International Airport and 40 minutes away from the city centre. This is the first large scale camping activities organized by the Scout Association of Hong Kong.The Jamboree also aimed at promoting environmental protection through Scouting, experiencing the adventure and fun of camping and fostering World Scout Brotherhood.

MaCaPS RFID time attendance system allowed a better management of services and scheduling of activities for scout member guests coming from all nations. The RFID system earmarked the advancement of adopting high-tech in managing people flow in large/medium scale community activities and services.
