Easy Register
MaCaPS has licensed the Library Easy Register System from the City University of Hong Kong and will commercialize the "Octopus" based Easy Register system jointedly developed by City University Library and MaCaPS.
Traditional the cross-university library card is very primitive, unsecure and easy tampered. The information shared between different universities may conflict because of the outdated entries. The Easy Register siftware based on Octopus Card or other RFID card technology allows seamless data exchange bewteen instutions and allows users to operate their cards in a much faster way. With the unmanned library services, the registration allows round the clock services when library is closed and has great contributions to ease the work load of library staff.
